Don't get near some of the drivers' or personnel's cars then. Some of the squinting, and fudging of number/letter placings to make the VIN read something is a sight to behold!

I reckon Goff for pole, Neal race 1, Tordoff race 2, Jordan race 3 having finished 6th and being drawn out of the fishbowl for pole.

I’m not a Matt Neal fan but I reckon he’ll get the championship this year, judging by how quick the car already is. It’d be nice to see him equal the record if anything.

Nice interview with Plato at the media day here, getting some 'excuses' in early

You mean the driver name is too close to the bottom of the window that there wasn't room for the tail on the 'Y'.

Noticed on the day. Shrugged and got on with the rest of my life. Hardly the end of the world.

A spinning BMW. Probably Turkington knowing his Brands luck.

Apparently to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the BTCC, they are going to do a repeat of the 1958 final, with Sutton and Turkington competing in identical Renault Clios

Interestingly this season Sutton is driving what was James Cole’s chassis, Price has Plato’s previous chassis & JP has what was Price’s (formerly Turkington’s), so JP can’t blame the car not being straight, right or fitted with a duff diff!

Seems a bit odd that they've dropped the chassis that won the championship and kept the one that had the biggest accident. No reason why they still couldn't mess up the diffs though, it's not as though they're fixed to each chassis permanently...

My weather forecast site of choice currently has it raining Saturday PM and then all day Sunday... still time for that to change, of course.

Don’t give JP any more potential excuses I only included that to complete the list if issues the car apparently had! Mind you he wasn’t too complementary about his new car at Media day either........

Is this the first time he's had a teammate with #1 on their car?

He's already got a string of excuses available in the back pocket - RWD weight penalty, Subaru measure from TOCA, different chassis, cars are damaged, recovering from surgery.....
