Barry Pomfret should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Snetterton Charity Day

A quick reminder to let everybody know that the Heart Foundation Day at Snetterton is on next weekend (23 & 24 Nov.) For those who haven't been before members of the public can buy tickets for circiut rides in a variety of racing cars and the money raised is split between the Heart Foundation and a variety of Norfolk charities.Last year about 40 different race cars turned up ranging from a 2CV to a Silk Cut GpC Jaguar, over £33,000 was raised. Sat. is mainly corporate but Sun. is open to the general public and this is usually the day with a greater variety of cars. I should be out in a Caterham Roadsports, sharing the driving with the cars owner, Mark Geach. Hope the weather stays fine and lots of money is raised for a good cause.

I'll see you there Barry. Unfortunately Derek Hood of JD Classics is not sending his Silk Cut Jaguar this year but there will be some lovely cars anyway. The public can be driven around for as little as a tenner in one of the 'slower' race cars! Last year the Jag was £100 for 3 laps - well worth it from the folks I spoke to who were lucky enough to get a ride in it as it was a sell out.

It now looks pretty unlikely we'll be there - waiting on confirmation from 'the boss' but pretty doubtful I'd say

I'll be there in the queue for a few laps with Steve Wood & Stuart Scott in the Porsche.

Heard a rumour that there could be (though I think unlikely) a touring car there so there will be extra cash in my pocket just in case.

Not sure whether the car will be there but Gareth certainly will .

Now if the Atomic Kitten MG was to make an appearance I would be having a very early Christmas present

Do the charity organisers think to contact the touring car teams..this would be a great way to get the public in, get some money in, and for the touring car teams, well get some testing done on the QT....

If i remember correctly Chris i didn't scream until AFTER we got out of Voggy last year.
When we were going ROUND in Voggie, all i can remember doing was getting the giggles rather badly and waving at any marshal that would wave back!!!!

you there this year ???

just so we could wave at the ones we missed last year???

i squeeled cause i couldn't laugh any longer!
steve did give me a strange look though and he was quite amused at my strange laughing "THIS IS FANTASTIC" reaction.

and yep, that is virtually all i could say. all day.
over and over again.

oh dear.

true to form.
