McPherson strut to wishbones

All,
Advice or contacts please.
New project using Ford uprights (McP.strut) and the plan is to convert to double wishbones. I'm sure I've seen adaptors somewhere, inserts to go where the strut was and take a bolt for a spherical joint. But can I find anywhere that sells them? No.
Anyone know what I'm talking about and can point me in the right direction, please?

Thanks,
John

LEDA did something along these lines some time ago. Might be worth a quick chat with them.

You can get adapters for Sierra uprights to wishbone from some of the Locost suppliers (check google). A simple thing, that clamps in to the top of the upright, and has a taper for (usually) a transit drag link ball joint.

The lack of Cortina uprights means that this is the only cheap option for kit car makers.
