Absolutely! Marcus Pye has promised to supply me with all his info. on the subject, although he is concerned that some of it needs to be checked for accuracy before publication. My argument is that this is the right place to work through and discuss any anomalies, so am still working on him (when I can catch up with him, which is rare!)!

For my feeling the Chevron B8 is one of the best looking racecar who was ever build! I race the B8 beginning the 90th. But sale the car this year to a gentleman in England. ........

Any idea about this Chevron B8?

Here is a picture of strongly rebuilt Chevron B8 (B8GT DBE78/1)... Does anybody have any idea about history of this car? I have more photos if needed. I think it is very interesting car, but I have no idea about this car before 1986...

That's a fabulous car. It's got what, an F2 motor? I've never seen one in the flesh here in the states, but it looks simply spectacular.

Plaza III still going strong, still great steaks, "to die for" steak stew, best crumbled bleu cheese dressing. If you ever get back, I'll buy you a steak for a drive in one of these things. What does the B8 weigh?

The B8 weighs 600kg with about 200 hp at the rear wheels, thats with the 2 litre BMW M10 engine.

Salivating....

Thanks Dav...I am now officially salivating...I'd love to come over again (and its not totally off the agenda )

As for getting a drive, you would have to make the arduous journey down-under then beg Max on your hands and knees....might be worthwhile tho

BTW I don't care what they weigh....they go like shyte off a shovel with handling to match (only weakness seems to be driveshafts). Oh, did I mention how pretty they are

I didn't want to create a new thread so sorry for hijacking. I would like to know the dimensions of the B8: length, width, height, wheelbase, track and tire sizes. If I can't get all of them that's OK.
