Really bad time for that too, demolishing a car like that in race 1 here means two zero point races.

Well those engine problems for Arta are nothing for them now. Good to see the driver out of the car but that front end is a mess

I do enjoy how the power figure for GT500 creeps ever upwards, Sam Collins just stated that the 2L engines now put out "slightly south" of 700hp!

Victory for the #24 Forum GT-R, just holding off the #38 Sard RC-F, which takes the championship lead going into the final race tomorrow.

There's more trophies. There's always more trophies. Love the presentation of the rice to the podium. Only in Japan.

I didn't get to watch, but I'll try my best to watch tomorrow's race. Good result for the SARD RC F, hope they can send the RC F out in style with a championship.

#21 Audi Team Hitotsuyama won at GT300 class. First one for Audi at Super GT since 2012 season Round 1, and the very first for Hitotsuyama Racing. The team has been competed since 1996 but took 20 years to finally make it at Super GT.
Also, the first time the team on the title contention at last race - only 9 points behind the leader (#25 VivaC 86 MC) |

The #26 Taisan SARD R8 squad also showed the significant work, P16 from the start and finished P6 and it was only 0.016 seconds behind P5. Great debut from all-PCCJ champion lineup (Yuya Motojima & Tsubasa Kondo)

According to NOB Taniguchi blog,
Team GSR (#4) seems to have carried out the tire test during today's race(!) for tomorrow's race. (They did two time pit stops and got fastest lap time). http://ameblo.jp/nob-taniguchi/entry-12218865061.html |

Saturday press conference by GTA (Masaaki Bandoh)
http://supergt.net/news/single/16684 *2016 season impressions (about GT300 class) Mother chassis car evolved. #25 and #3 results are eminent over rivals. But these are depend on the potential abilities of the team. We wouldn't like to restrict the technical capabilities of the team. Instead, we would like to put in balance by BoP and handicap system. *About 2017 technical regulations car 2017 spec GT500 car's lap time is about behind 1 second than current car. It's on-target result. It became slower cornering/faster straight-line speed. And brake point comes to the near side. It became safe with this. It's over for #55 ARTA M6 GT3. The car won't participate in tomorrow's race because lacking necessary spare parts given the car's damage. IMO, I already concerned this case will be happened, at 2 races on the same weekend... On the top 10 finishers, all of them are GT3 cars except #25 VivaC 86 MC. Is the GT3's braking strength really the case? Last edited by hvr777; 12 Nov 2016 at 15:11. |

So Sad to hear that But for next year , they can use this car's damage frame to update to newer specs for the next year for the better quality , instead of purchasing the brand new NSX GT3 as NSX GT3 program is mainly focused on North America. As for series champion, I still hoped Vivac 86 MC will be the GT300 of series champion because Matsui is involved in Toyota Gazoo Racing Program. For GT500 , I hoped DENSO RC F be the GT500 champion. Because I also Toyota / Lexus fans |

Yuichi Nakayama put the #31 Prius on pole in GT300, ahead of Naoya Gamou in the Leon AMG. Early session leader NOB ended up 5th, with championship contenders in 6th (#25 VivaC), 7th (#61 Subaru) and 8th (#21 Audi). Collins' beau ended up 14th in the #3.
Track conditions are very cool, only 14 degrees at the start of qualifying. Edit: Kohei Hirate makes it a double pole for the #39 Denso Sard RC-F this weekend in GT500, leading a Lexus 1-2-3-4-6-7. Yasuda was the top GT-R in 5th, top NSX embarrassingly only 10th at a home track. Last edited by Beryl; 13 Nov 2016 at 00:26. |

Saturday press conference by GTA Part.2
http://car.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/1029659.html *About two heat race format If it is popular with the audience, we would like to consider introducing two-heat races again. If so, the championship point could be 1.5 times large as usual race (not 2 times). *About GT300 BoP We think whether to make an individual vehicle adjustment like SRO-GT3-BoP about JAF-GT300 BoP for the next season. |
