It's a big risk to put all your eggs in one basket like that. Say you have a mechanical problem in R2, that's a double zero

Or a mechanical in R1, preventing you from setting a time in the first place. Not as bad but not ideal. Risk vs reward though...

Plato will start 9th for R2.
The race had 2 phases - before and after the safety car. Great racing from Collard and Jackson. Not a fan of Shedden forcing Austin INTO Lines' lapped car. Not very smart, probably deserves a talking to of sorts... |

Great race. Would like to see Tordoff's pass for fourth. Did he pass two cars in one corner? If so, surely that must be the move of the year. Great battle for the win between Jackson, Collard and Priaulx for the win

I really wonder if Gow gave Motorbase more boost, looks like fastest car in straight line

Jackson has been on fire this weekend. BMR's misfortune has really thrown the title fight open. Great drive by Tingram from the back

Adam Morgan will never win anything if he chickens out of battles like he did with Neal.

think Priaux will get some penalty , too physical in this race , Moffat may still get his podium!!
Neal got his mojo back ? |

I also saw the Formula MSA collision that caused the spillage.
I was hoping the Noo Noo was going to get an outing, but instead of showcasing this 'ground breaking' technology it was left to the Orange Army to do an admirable job. Is the Noo Noo actually going to be used on a live track or is it meant for cleaning up spillages post race? The amount of personnel needed to operate it and its lack of mobility, once the generator, vacuum hose and leaf blower have been deployed, makes me think it is an elegant soloution to a problem that doesn't need it. |

Priaux handed 3.5 sec penalty which means congrats to Moffat for his maiden podium

From what I've seen it's fine for a big puddle in a small area but hopeless when you get a line of oil spread out over a long distance, which is typically what you get. |

rounds 19-20-21 2015 Knockhill
Brilliant podium by Moffat, the normally clean Priaulx got too physical. Great drive by both Neal and Morgan.
Bad luck for Tordoff, hard work for nothing. |

Interesting, both cars were 1st and 2nd fastest in a straight line in qualifying but in the races Cole was fastest in the field while jackson was in the middle of the field for top speeds.

Good, entertaining day of racing. Deserved penalty given to Priaulx for that move on Moffat, but good to see him making some more aggressive moves after a fairly timid start this year. Hoping that BMW will let him race at the Rock as he's not too far off the title hunt.
Shame about Morgan hitting that debris - frustrating for him that the SC was called earlier in the race for much smaller debris/tyre barrier issue but not called in time to retrieve the bigger piece. |

Regarding the Fords, they've been among the fastest cars in a straight line since the introduction of the turbo engines. It seems like Mountune have built the best engine(s) to the given regulations. Let's see what they can do at Rockingham. |

There was literally no time to retrieve it as it had just fallen off the back of Stewart Lines' car.
