Like it. So the value for the racer is good and the Spectators get to see some diverse action.
[Ageist]Truth to tell as far as racing is concerned these days I'm a long distance rather than sprint guy [/ageist] but I can see that the format provides for great racing. |

Yep it looks good from all aspects.
Actually it should even appeal to our cousins across the pond (short attention span thing you know). Are there any American races? I know about the 4x4 races but it isn't the same. |

The Americans have what they call rallycross but it's not at all like the european events here's a link that may explain their version. http://www.dcrally.com/rallycross/rallycross.htm

Just thought I'd say my entry is in the post for Croft, but I will still be racing the Junior... Sadly we can't afford to build up a senior until we sell the junior car.
A podium finishing junior... and its still not sold. Last edited by BertMk2; 17 Feb 2005 at 08:40. Reason: Removed email link - adverts have their own forum! |

You seem to be in the same position that several others are in. The changes in the rules seems to be affecting lots of people and leading to uncertainty about what direction to follow. Even if you do know where you want to go if there is no resale value in your current car you are left stranded and frustrated. Best of luck |

Nice to see you have got off the Playstation Tommi. Sorry you can not sell your car at the moment, I am sure if your dad gets on the job with his gift it will soon go.

Thanks for the update larry1.
I was only reading what was on the DDMC web site. Are they both going to be at Lydden? Hope so. It should be a great day out. |

Fiesta is due to be ready for Lydden (at least that was the line taken at the autosport show) - what chances it being given a shakedown on the 19th of March at the Lydden test day (on the full tarmac circuit)?

Is there a test day at Lydden too then? Is that free entry?

Is there any more entries for March 6th, as I cannot download the spreadsheet from the DDMC website from offshore (The webmaster wont allow it, BOOOO!) to find out.

Still 15 entries short of paying the bills, so to those who think they can enter at the last minute, think again we need either another 15 cars or a sponsor with 2 grand to make the event viable.
It would do rallycross no favours to loose this event. |

As this event is in both the BTRDA & the MDA clubmans championship you would have thought there would be no problem with entrys, what will happen with the stand alone clubman events. The events that run along with the super series should be OK as should the BTRDA Anglesey round but what will happen at the others is anybodys guess.

The only positive point about lack of entries is that it might force the RSS and BRDA to work together. Reality bites...

Will the snow still be here next weekend though?
If not, does anyone have any excuses I can use? Phil. |
