Pikes Peak Results
YEAH GIL!!!
Couldn't watch the whole race, I doubt if many of us could. Hail the size of Volkswagens, rain, a few crashes... Race ran over an hour overtime. This is when I'm thankful for the internet and the radio links! Sounded like a great finish. Helio and Hornish were right there, Giaffone ran strong too. With the laps dwindling down late in the race, the top four were separated by less than a second! Unser is showing a new form, too. Glad to see that. Did you see some of the side-by-side racing between Helio and Hornish? Wonderful stuff! Talk about one driver trusting another. Lap after lap after lap. YEAH PENSKE CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS!!! |

It's good to see Gil finally get an IRL win.
We got the race a few hours tape delayed, so they could cut out the rain delays and neatly piece it together. Some good racing between Helio / Hornish but also Helio and Gil in the early stages. I suppose it's going to come down to these 2 for the championship. A surprisingly poor race for Cheever's team, especially Tomas. Was he in this race? |

I'd like to know why you think that Helio Castroneves is a cheater..If it's due to Indy, you had better point the finger at Brian Barnhart and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corp. as well as the IRL Officials...not Helio and Team Penske
