My Street Circuits in Google Earth
I was going back through all my posts here in the My Tracks forum, and put them into Google Earth. After downloading the folder containing 45, yes I said 45, tracks, double click on each file to load them into Google Earth. As you load each track, the earth will rotate and zoom into the location of the track, where you will see a red line. If you right click on the track in the Places Panel in Google Earth, you can get more info on the track, such as the elevation profile, and by double clicking on the file in Google Earth, and right clicking the new "link", you can choose Properties, then Measurements, to get the length of the track. Also, when you have the new "link" selected, you can click the "Play Tour" button to get an overhead shot of the track.
