Good to hear the cars are coming along well guys...
Mine left last week for the new cage to be put in (kiss another 3k goodbye) and with some minor paint required, new tyres, and a new fuel system i may struggle to make round one at Wakefield. But i'll do my best... Cheers, Boppa |

Good stuff...
I went out to have a look at my car today, the cage is almost done, only the intrusion bars on the passenger side and the taxi bar to go... Now, if only that money tree would grow a bit faster !! |

Hey Colin,
hows the car coming along? Have you got the thing to run yet? When are you going to come a play with us, i will try and keep boppa from hitting you I am hopefully going down on sunday to finish off the work on my car so it can go off to the dyno before going to Wakefield. It will be interesting to see what numbers the engine gets. The motor is nothing special, but it has a lot of torque...will be interesting. The dyno might not go low enough for the HP figure though compared to the rest of the rotaries. |

I won't be racing Shane, too much work to do and not enough time or cash - that bloody boat i bought has only seen the water twice so far and it's going to stop me from making round 1...
Still, i did all but the last round last season, i might just do 3 or 4 this year and save some dollars for a full season in '06... P.S - I want to see you into the 9's at Wakefield... Boppa |

I am hoping to be in the 9's. After my first outing there 2 years ago with a car that was running with no spark on the trailing plug on the second rotor and looking like a diesel it was that rich and me never driving there before, I still got the car into mid 10's, so i better get into 9's or better, but thats wishful thinking.
The car will be on the dyno onsaturday, so i will let you know the massive HP figures |

Well, it is all finished. After some issues with the starter motor and wiring I have fixed those and now it is sitting in then garage waiting to go. It took a lot less time than I thought and has turned out really well...
I probably wont be out on the track till later in the year. Last saturday we have a huge storm out this we and we had a gum tree fall and go through the roof and smash a couple of fences and do lots of other damage. The streets here look like war zones |

Looks good mate. Now all you need is some signwriting and it will look like a proper racecar. i happen to know a bloke who is pretty good at racecar signage too.
My car went well on the dyno, no huge HP figures(nothing another 4ohp wouldnt fix), but the torque range was pretty good. So it is off to Wakefield next wekend for my first run of the year. |
