personally I think you'd need to be several sandwiches short of a picnic to go shopping at a Goodwood auction !

example, LC with light rally prep, on the market for a year, nothing special . . .£14k . . .stick it in Goodwood auction and it goes for 18500 plus landering fee thats a 30% mark up . . . . I'd wager thats the norm as well

will it add kudos to the new owner when he can claim that he bought the car at a "Goodwood" auction?
