Jesper OH should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Le Mans '05 - Raymond Narac?

Looking at the entry list for this years Le Mans I stumbeled upon the name of Raymond Narac as entrant and driver of a GT2 Porsche. Never heard of him before, but looking at results from this years French GT2-class, he seems to be the current hotshot and with Romain Dumas giving up a coveted ride with his usual employer Alex Job Racing for this domestic entry must be something! The Narac-Porsche even beat the AJR-Porsche at the resent test at Le Mans.

Raymond Narac don't sound like a team name, but am I right in believing that he also uses the name of IMSA Performance for that perpose?

Raymond Narac races the Porsche he has entered at Le Mans in the FFSA GT Championship with Dumez, where the car has been very successful. A lot of this success is due to the fact that it is by far the least amateur operation, with pretty much the best car. That entry is under the IMSA Performance banner, which also enters a Porsche GT3 Cup car in a couple of series.

At this race, I believe the car is mostly being run by Larbre Competition. Since the AJR entry is actually a BAM! entry, and factory drivers with a history of BAM! entries are in that car, it is logical that Dumas could have been placed in a good French team by Porsche, or found the ride on his own. I'd be curious to know which one of those might be true.

Well summarized by cmk. The IMSA Porsche is entered to win the class, even if there's serious opponents allright. Don't underestimate the team/car/pilots...
