I saw on sunday that concrete stairs are being built in order to allow the access to a new entrance of the Museum directly from the Dunlop curve.

On Jérôme Mugnier's Virages : a link to LM posters, programs, and parades, since 1923...
I can't read the french owners of the website (Gege & Lolo ?) who gathered all that stuff... great job, though... |

A little (true) anecdote. I went on a Brooklands/Musee de la Sarthe twinning car rally in mid-80s, led from 'our' side by (the late) Ray Wiltshire. Jolly good fun and all that, but the formal black tie dinner there ended with the usual round of speeches and gift exchanging. Brooklands' gift to them was an illuminated scroll, and they gave us a Tiger Moth!!
Which, I think, has now been restored by the Brooklands engineer/mechanics. |
