I know that I did! When people were talking about dangerous flat tracks on all the forums, Pocono was being thrown out there since cars enter the turn following the long drag strip straight at over 200mph. I was quite relieved to see Ricky drive that car to the pits after that hard hit.

Lee should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Joe,
Like you, I was glad to see him drive away, he hit that wall a ton! At this point, I really wonder it "soft walls" are going to help. Yes, they absorb, or disipate energy, but you still have a heavy object moving at a high rate of speed, comming to an abrupt stop. Like the old saying goes, "it's not the crash that gets you, it's the sudden stop!" Yes, we need to try and do whatever we can to prevent this from happening, but I wonder if anything, short of changing the laws of physics will solve this problem. I guess we have to also accept the fact that racing is a very dangrous sport, and sadly, at times we are going to loose somebody.
