Wow, 33 cars on the grid!! Now that's a championship! OTOH, it's only the WTCC that can bring out 33 cars. Back in the ST days, the STW drew a record of 30 cars themselves.

Valle Makela has a shining future in touring cars if he continues in this way.

Coronel and Andrea Larini had a massive crash during warm-up and they could lose both races.

Totally horrific incident in the warm-up, marshalls nearly getting wiped out, cars smashed to bits, horrid.

From onboard Andrea Larini's car the track did look very shiny I guess it would be oil.
The Hotfiel Focus nearly collected the car just seconds later. Why the marshalls were on track while cars were passing is beyond me though, the driver was out, it was only a car that needed recovered. |

Looks like we can forget seeing the WTCC races live on Eurosport, as the tennis final currently being shown won't end until some time next week, from the look of it.
Unless, of course, Eurosport actually cuts over to the WTCC, but I doubt it... |

Oh wow, great link.
Just sods law isn't it? The WTCC was the ONE THING! I wanted to watch today, and they aren't even showing it, I think I might go and top myself... |

The tennis is thankfully over now though, and the WTCC coverage is starting now.
