Pantomime Call
If any Pantomime Producers read this, here's a tip for anyone looking for a Mother Goose - Fay Crook!
Fay was in Fire 2 today for the BRSCC meeting @ Mallory, which means she parks up in the trusty (or should that be rusty?) Rover on the infield @ Fantasy Island. She spent the whole day shooing a flock of Canadian Snow geese off the circuit, a role she took to, like a duck to water! A natural for the stage. |

The Goose Girl* (as I think of her) was doing a splendid job. Saved me running about (in this heat! - not a chance) to shoo away the potential dinners wandering onto the track.
Always knew there was a point to Fire 2 - now I know what it is. (And yes Fay, I can do that Friday day for you - there is an email in the air.) Regards Jim (* Grimm's fairy tale of the princess who became a goose girl ) |

Question, did she shoo the geese by running at them, or did she use the car?

That leads to many other possibles in the marshalling fraternity taking panto roles.
At a recent wedding we had the bride (name witheld but for sake of clarity we will call her Elaine) almost losing her shoe (not glass) in the paving stones at the reg office. Guess Dave could have been buttons. (who had obviously eaten the pumpkin). |

Tell you what, this thread could get good. How about casting a Pantomime using marshals, just to set you off I'll give you myself & Dave Pierre as the Ugly Sisters!

If Byron was to play Dick Whittington, would he have a "sheep in boots"??

I think anyone who comes to Mallory will not have to become a "Gosling".
It's strange how as soon as I moved near the Geese they went straight back to the water. |

Personally, I think Bill Turnbull would have to be Prince Charming - but then I'm biased, aren't I!
Quite like the sound of the two Daves as the ugly sisters, though! After 3 days at Bruntingthorpe, my face is burned enough for me to play Cinders..... |
