Following on from the recent MK3 Capri releases. IXO appeared to have released an 1:43 Equipe Esso Vince Woodman car from the 1981 Spa 24 hours to complement the 2 Belga versions and the French Jaussaud example. They seem to be building up a nice range of Spa offerings.

I'll see if I can do a link later but I found it on ebay from a German seller modellauto's or something if anyone wants to have a look? Probably need to do advanced search though.

They will prob do all of them like they did with the Alfas from all over the world. Wish they wouldn't waste time with models we already have! Do the Cavalier or mondeos!

It would be good if it was the 1991-1996 version.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRAND-NEW-DELP...item255bbd5d21

ive found this delprado version of the 850 estate, now i know there not the best quality but does that make 4 versions of the 850 estate now?

minichamps
motoart
hpi
delprado <

could be alright to add a estate into my collection ,the hpi and minchamps are to expensive sadly so this could be a "other option" maybe?

Dont waste your time/ money with del prado. Its a magazine special and is shockingly bad. People always give the motoart one bad press, but i dont think its actually that bad at all. Nothing like as good as HPI but what do you expect? prices seem to be falling on HPI 850s though, so might be worht holding on for a bit.

well i know my subaru rally model isnt the greatest by del but id never seen this 850 before so assumed it was quite rare, and it was 99p at the time so its already gone up so i wont bid...
i did see pictures of the motoart version, just something doesnt look quite right with it, i know hpi alfas are going down too, lets hope by christmas time there only a few pounds each!

Does anyone know if a 1:43 model has been made of the 1997 AMP Bathurst 1000 winner, the supertourer BMW 320i of Brabham / Brabham?

Link to photo: http://www.supertouringregister.com/image/774.jpg

I have the 1998 AMP Bathurst 1000 winner (Volvo S40 Rydell / Richards) but haven't been able to find any evidence that a model has been made of the 1997 car, so if anyone has any info, that'd help!

It's because it is genuine is the issue!!!

In 4 weeks time you will able to 'buy it now' for £19.99... Not £56

Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

I almost did. Was pipped at the post. Seems like it was a blessing if its going to be a proper release. I thought it was along the lines of the Jackson BMW.

Yes it is a proper release commissioned by SEAT built by IXO.

The Jackson BMW is being arranged by Leyland Paints (see their new website) and Motorbase. These will be very limited. It is possible that both 1/43 and 1/18 are being produced.

I bought a HPI Alfa Romeo 155 the other day, its the BTCC presentation version, and i have to say these HPI models are very impressive, i am now tempted to sell my two Minichamps Alfa's and replace them with the HPI versions.

I thought about doing the same thing, but I paid extortionate amounts of money for my Minichamps versions so I should hang on to them.

I know the feeling. I bought my Minichamps Simoni brand new when it was released, its one of my original collection, and the Tarquini car cost an arm and a leg off eBay, and the trouble with the hpi models is, the minichamps cars no longer fetch top money, so although i would quite like to replace them i am not sure i will, maybe i will one day.
