Whilst not directly MotoGP, it does involve KTM/ Peirer Group....

They were the main stakeholders in WESS, which ran the Hard Enduro Championship.......which has gone into liquidation. A slight conflict of interest there.....

In my mind, KTM should have left MotoGP alone, and concentrated on the off-road side.

They for sure should, why in hecks name did they build loads of cars, that were only sold in small numbers, some truly woeful management and decisions made.

They will it seems leave in 2026, which leaves certainly Moto3 in a very difficult spot.

This also ties in with why Dorna are fine with Suzuki talking about coming back they will no doubt get huge financial and R&D benefuits to do so.

So all reading, reports is all over for KTM end of 2025.

Sad. But… Who would buy one of those Bikes? Over the years they never fixed the reliability issues like crankshaft bearings, either on 2-Stroke or 4-Stroke engines. Last summer I went to a main Katoche dealer in Paris to get rid of my Honda. But between the price tags and orange color of the frame I gave up…

So the big guns are soon to arrive for testing.

Positive signs from Yamaha based on the tail end of last year and early practice, however with the arrival of the Ducati guns and possible sandbagging by others, Im sure things will get interesting.

Cant wait to watch.

Yeah, as clip above shows, a horrible knock on the head and personally surprised no concussion. Im sure he would have seen a few stars. Put an early end to his running at Sepang and will likely put him out of Burinam tests next week out as well. Certainly a setback and not the best start but not the end of the world. .

Aprilia Statement:

Watta highside! Lucky guy. I'd say knock on the face and thanks to the helmet maker for the protection. He will suffer a lot I fear and will have what we call an integrated barometer and will know the weather changes in advance! From my biker memory, the anklebone and any of the malleolus, when they are pushed beyond their limits give a strange feeling: to swallow your balls while your eyes are spinning in their sockets! Only a fracture of the tailbone can beat this. Note: the tailbone is a very hard region to plaster…
