Yeah but in light of what has happened at Croft I think they should be stopped, all of these cars can run silenced including F1's and its nonsense to say in this day and age they can't. So what if you are warned what if you lived local and happen to go down sick for a few days and have to be at home. I really think this is playing into the hands of environmentalists and NIMBY's. I am saying this as someone who loves the sport, races big V8's and want to continue to do so.

teammoda has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

And it would be great if we could have the grandstand back

sounds good as well - perhaps JP should replace Mosely !! get silences on all forms of motor sports will help with the ever increasing environmental issues all circuits are having - the other option is all diesel engines - very quiet, but black smoke could be issue !!!

JP replacing Mosley?
That will never happen.
JP is all in favour of racing, drivers, spectators, marshals, locals and much more; not something required of the chairman of FIA. He would actually make FIA human, surely this can't happen?

But wouldn't it be great?

Appears things have taken a step backwards - with JP threatening to move away from Snett after all the issues of noise and the cost of building the large earth bund at Coram- looks like the local council are not helping ! See the local website - www.edp24.co.uk - under the news tab - sorry can get the link to work.

Al, I disagree with you over the unsilenced days. There has to be a place for this, and what I've learned about classic F1 cars, is that they do not take to being silenced - they tend to be very dangerous as silencers often explode.

What do you want next? Silencers on top fuellers at Santa Pod? Or worse still - silencers on light aircraft (The CAA & FAA have stated that silencers on aero engines affects reliability, and therefore safety)

The words "Common Sense" have been lost from our society. Along with that is Tolerance, however, they have been over-run by "Take the P**s", and new in at No.1 - ASBO!
