Numbering System next year?
Ok this year Touring Class cars are numbers 1-49(I know Aaron Slight's is 111), and Production Class guys are 50-99 I think.
Next year, one of the Touring Class drivers will be champ, so they get number 1. But what about the Production guys? They'll hardly be happy with number '50'? What do TOCA do in this situation? |

I would have thought they'd stick with the same number system for next year as this. However, if James Kaye wins BTCP, and graduates to BTCT next year, what then for him? Same for Moen and Harrison?

To simplify matters they'll probably just give him a brand new number.
Good point though. |

The Touring class is the premier class, so that champion should get number 1. In the days of Group A, when Frank Sytner won the 88 series in a class B BMW M3, he wasn't number 1 the next year, Andy Rouse was for winning class A, same in 1990, Andy Rouse was number 1 for winning the 89 class A, whilst John Cleland was champion in 89 in a class c Vauxhall.
Preferance goes with the premier category |

Why's that then?
Anhyhow, it's a bit ambitious of BMP to think they can get 50 cars! |

John Cleland carried the number 50 plate in 1990 after winning the 1989 title.

77 has been the number held by Matt Neal and last year was held by Tom Kristensen.

I'd actually like to have "red" 55, just to upset NM. If only I had the talent to go with it!!

77 ? Isn't that the number on the side of the pink peril ?? Maybe he'd swap it for 666 ?
