French Hillclimbs

Hi, newbie here,

I've been living in France since Feb and am planning to return for a fair few ASWMC events next year. I also want to do as many 'Course de Cotes' as possible.

A quick question, apart from Le Pomeraye and St Gueno what other climbs do you know of that can be done on a UK Nat A licence? ie demonstration.

Hope you guys might be able to point me in the right direction, Finding it quite a struggle to find Demonstration events, i'm happy to travel.

Cheers

Andy

jamesl has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Try buying "Echapament" magazine - similar to "Autosport" and "La vie de L'Auto" - a historic weekly rag. Both are available from tabacs and will tell you whats happening in French motorsport.
What car do you run?

Would Asturia in Northern Spain be too far?

Sorry, no idea if they have demo runs - can't read Spanish. Certainly got some propper cars there though:

Some people I know have done Lique, about 40 mins drive form Calais I'm told. Never done it but it sounds like fun.

Has any one come up with the answer to finding the site for the Lique hillclimb. Andy, did you try the St. Goueno site.

St Gueno is fully booked already for demonstrators as it's the venue for the French cup final this year.
