most of the stuff that goes on in here goes right over my head ..i havent got a clue as to what yas are on about ..but as long as your enjoying yourselves

now a story to help you along with ya giggles at the technically challenged individuals such as myself...my boss ....oopps thats should read my misses came home and told me that the passenger door on her car wouldnt lock...righty ho i thought ..grabbed the toolbox complete with half a set of sockets ,a rusty shifter and a few screw drivers that never seem to be the right one i want..off i went to investigate..and sure enough the damm door wouldnt lock..ok i said something in the lock itself seems to be jammed ..im gonna have to pull the door trim off and have a look...well that was easier said than done...stupid modern cars are full of hidden little screws and clips and stuff...well i got the trim off and fiddled around but couldnt find anything wrong..everything looked as it should..and then i pushed the knob down and it locked..what the ***** i said ...so i put the trim back on and got everything back in place and the damm thing wouldnt lock again..this is shyte i was saying so i pulled it all off again ..accidently damaging it in the process..ohh ill pay for that...and again there was nothing wrong ..the door locked fine..thats when i noticed the knob itself is on a small shaft and has 2 plastic pieces on it..and over time they have been able to swivle around and when the trim is on the bottom piece which is orange to indicate the door is unlocked hits the top of the trim and cannot be pushed down into the locked position...so on went the trim again and sure enough that was the problem and if it gets stuck all you have to do is push the orange piece in a bit and then lock the door...simple solution you might say ...yeh but the damm thing has cost me a new door trim and a new screwdriver that strangly dissappeared over a fence never to be seen again

have fun
Marcus

P.S..i might pop in here more often ...who knows i may learn something..keep up the good work in here guys

Sparky should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Marcus, even seasoned 'profezzionals' (such as myself ) have 'can't see the wood fer the trees' days!

Your neighbour might appreciate a free screwdriver or two, ya never know!

"..Come back now, y'hear!"
