Yeah me too. I'm lucky enough to live right next to an airfield where we have tornados, typhoons, harriers and other stuff taking off all day, but it's takes alot to beat a show of that calibre from a spitfire. It was displaying for at least 10 mins and really did entertain us during the break in racing.

Nice shot rob, Hill climbs are great, shame most of the good hills are up north

A couple of my favorite hill climb shots from the days of film.

Hill climb 1

And, the best of the northern hillclimbs is Harewood. Great layout and it attracts a lot of competitors. One of my shots from this last weekend - Simon Bainbridge in his much modified S2. Oh boy, is this a quick bit of tin and carbon fibre....

Yes, I live less than 10 minutes from Harewood and cover it for BARC and the Yorkshire Centre (I'm a member). It is a great venue and I just love working there. The last Startline front page carried one of my shots from one of the wettest days of the year.

I really like this one because of the different things the wheels are doing. Quite an easy shot to take from Redgate but still exciting;

Slow the shutter speed down and 'tilt' the camera a bit for more affect...

I have been out in the woods, this weekend for my last event of the year. I have been on the Roger Albert Clark rally. It's a historic event for cars of the late 70's and early 80's. That means that there have been lots of sideway Mk1 and Mk2 Escort. Here are two of my favourites:- A sideways Hannu Mikkola http://www.rdj-pics.co.uk/Photos/200...s/IMG_7712.jpg and there were also some Porsche 911's about aswell http://www.rdj-pics.co.uk/Photos/200...s/IMG_7691.jpg

Stig Blomqvist, winner of today's R.A.C. rally. Taken at the Croft stage. Light was horrible, it was wet and cold, but a good day never the less.
