The Best Photo You Have Ever Taken!

As there are so many good photographers out there i'm just wondering what is the best photo you have ever taken? it might be the picture quality or just the angle of the shot. I have seen some amazing photos on these posts so i bet there great!

Cheers.

Fairly difficult to pick out a single picture. But I guess combining impact and image quality, this one would be right up there.

Don't know if I'd call it my favourite ever image, but I quite like this one because it sums up vintage racing quite nicely.

You can use the attachment function. Click the "Go Advanced" button, and then "Manage Attachments".

Can I remind everyone again to read the rules regarding image sizes on the forum. Thanks.

I've got lots of favourites - i'm one of those people who could never choose "A" dream car...

But this is a pretty recent one (from the D1GB final at Trax) and I loved the colour and action combination - for me it made a striking image. I liked it enough to put in on my business card.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6.../IMGP4405a.jpg

But as I said I can never choose just one - so this one from the same meet I loved...

sorry for being greedy!

could you just clarify something please mike, does the 400x400 limit apply to just the images directly on the thread (eg like dexs) or are attachments with thumbnails (eg like mine) supposed to conform to this too?

I'm assuming this is intended for motor racing photographs so, I won't post what I actually see as my best photograph to date but, my best motor racing photograph to date.

I have far too many soft spots (in actual fact, I don't bruise easily) but, I think I'll go with this one:

Really good variety of stuff in your galleries. Not the usual fare at all. Top notch.

One question. Are you shooting digital, including the B&W stuff?

"Thanks for noticin'."

All the motorsport galleries this year, and last year's visit to Beaulieu have been done with digital.(*) Anything before Beaulieu was done with film, as was the trip to Berlin (wherein my favourite/best photograph can be found) and some of the crumbs within the raided tray of the broken biscuit assortment.(+)

This includes Black and White stuff (geneally done in camera using the Parameters menu - +2 on the Contrast, No sharpening, Red filter, No Toning) that falls within the afore-defined digital boundaries, except where it might not in the case of the fiendishly ambiguous biscuity wasteland.

(*) = To save another post (I'm an eco-warrior at heart, just a shame my heart is getting choked with cholesterol from all the biscuits), current kit is Canon 20D with 17-40mm, 50mm f/1.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8/1.4x TC. Canon 3000V. I've also got an elderly Canonet 28 and three SLR kit lenses that I no longer use, but do lend to friends that are starting up and in need of lenses until they can get their own.

(+) = I ate the last Bourbon ...
