kmchow should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The older style/prev gen of the XK has been racing as a silhouette/tubefram racecar in the US Trans Am racing series.

I remember that car, it's still one of the most beautiful GT's I've ever seen in racing. I was never a fan of the previous XK8, but the race-version was a pure beauty. What happened to that car?

Sadly proved unreliable / uncompetitive - No idea where it is now but you're right Bramzel - It made a beautiful race car

There's a great shot in one of our galleries from Knockhill in 2003 showing it doing what it did best - big flames from the exhaust!

I've seen some VdeV footage on Raceworld and there was a british-racing-green XK8 in GT... good looking car as well.

thebullet has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
The thing with this is that on the drawing the wheels make are really big and fit nicely around the wheel arches, but after seeing the real photos it made me realize that the wheels are acctually smaller and it dosen't look as good but still a fantastic car.

I assume you mean Alan Lloyd's old car. It was unreliable and overweight but once they removed the supercharger and ran a high spec NA engine they got it reliable and quite competitive in the GT class of VdeV. Lovely looking car.

Well that was rather disappointing. I know little details, but it was a shame it couldn't race at all.

Yeah very dissappointing that the Jag and Morgan were not allowed to race especially considering that neither were elligible for points (only 2 cars not 3) so why not let them race?

Jag and Morgan both sounded awesome

Indeed, i was pretty teed off at that too. Morgan's looked absolutely ace and I know it's difficult to detect excatly how quick it is when running around in a demo and not in amongst 40 odd other beasts but it seemed very quick?

Jag had a funny moment at Club - peeled off for couple of minutes and then continued. Who was driving it? Wondered if he'd accidentally pressed the kill switch?!

That's great news if it happens! That car looks the part, if you excuse the pukey colour scheme, and sounds terrific.

James Littlejohn was in the car for the morning and Chris Ryan was out in the afternoon. Chris had a passenger with him who had paid a lot of money to children in need for the privilage. She loved it although felt quite sick after!
The team have decided to miss the next round at Bucharest and the aim is to arrive at Monza with three cars and put all the Silverstone FIA issues behind us.
Chris and myself will also try and do a British GT round or maybe Britcar before too long so that the car can be seen in the UK now that FIA Gts head towards Europe and Dubai.

Looks like Jaguar will be next to be sold by Ford.

Hopefully an independent Jaguar will return to the race tracks in an official capacity, would make sense if they wish to revie the brands image.
