MikeJAllen should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
1962 Oulton Park Spring Cup Elva MkVI

I have been contacted by a gentleman who has bought an Elva MkVI. This car was announced in December 1961 and on 7 April a works car was entered for Paddy Gaston who crashed the car in practice. This is the car they believe they have which had an unusual roll over bar. Given that this was one of the first appearances of this car I am hoping that someone out there has a photo. The car number was 157 and was green with a possible light blue stripe down the middle. Elva certainly rebuilt the car and sold it on but their records are sketchy. Can anyone help?
