Compare with HARD - they've had to put a driver in to honour the TBL, and it doesn't seem selling a TBL was an option for them?
Handing back as Jeff Smith had to when Dan Lloyds funding failed to materialise didn't publically upset Mr Gow or TOCA that I'm aware. So that could have been an option. I'm pretty certain TG would have been in the car for Snett if he hadn't been able to get another driver in place in time.

So Mr Scott in the 3rd Subaru wasn't an option?

I wonder what will happen that spare TBL, seen as Mr Scott isn’t really interested in keeping hold of it

There is no spare TBL. AG has removed one of the loan ones, and will remove the other by the end of the year.

Which one do you mean? Whether he's interested or not, Mr Scott no longer has it.

BMR now have two only. PMR now one owned one loaned.

One of the two TBLs that are allocated on a loan basis are back with the administrator - so I assume it will be used as seen fit?

Reserved for a manufacturer entry or a guest car as the rules state. I'm sure PMR will have no bother getting another one to buy, we've seen them change hands more than toca would like.

I would not be surprised if TG 'right-sized' #HARD to 2 or 3 cars for next year. Which should produce the TBL that PMR would like that allows Mr Gow to retire the loan one.

If BMR does cease in BTCC then we'll potentially be at the "magic 28" 962fan fancies.

Nuggets of info from Snetterton Qualifying.

Geoff Kingston has left Team HARD.
Swindon Subaru engines have been upgraded and now make the same power as other Swindon power plants.

Not surprised Geoff has left with all the shenanigans going on. Where will he go now, back to Speedworks perhaps?

Yes, sold to PMR who have given a "loan" TBL back

So... did GK quit, or did TG wave him goodbye. Those cars have not materially improved - unless I have rose coloured specs on again - and GKs biggest 'achievement' seems to have involved ****ing some of the drivers off with the infamous 'Tingram won with this' comment.

I have met Geoff and he is genuine nice guy. You say his biggest achievement was helping Tingram? What about helping Colin too at WSR?

Two of the Team HARD drivers were very vocal about it in the paddock after Donington to a group of us that were chatting to them.

Precisely as Jim says: one of the drivers in private conversation said it to me probably the same day as said paddock group discussion.

I meant to say GKs biggest achievement at HARD; he clearly has been a significant factor in success at previous teams.

Going back to BMR and Price's departure - It may not have been announced publicly until immediately before the start of the weekend but those who compile the event programme knew he wasn't competing as the BMR listing didn't include him. Looks like some people can keep a secret.
