I thought he had a rather good season in 2000. He got better and better and was causing Ralf more and more problems by season's end. It was 2001 at Benetton which was poor, but he seems to have used that experience to improve his approach. I see no reason why Button shouldn't be given a shot with a decent car before we move on the next batch of young 'hotshoes'. Of course, he might get that chance with BAR first....

I do agree that Heidfeld deserves a chance as well. I hope he does a good job in the Jordan, though if the EJ14 is anything like the 13 then he'll be struggling to make an impact.

ActiveMS should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ralf should be out of the williams by the end of 2004 if not before. Personally I'd sack him now, just for being the t*at he is No driver deserves that amount, even his brother.

Bring on Button and Webber.....possible dream team.

Forget Fisci, he's been in the game too long and not impressed enough. I agree he is possibly a yard stick for massa, but then again, I dont think massa is anything to write home about. As for the wannabe's Nico and Nelsino, forget it..... you need more than famous parents.

The only problem with the Button and Webber line though up is Flavio and BAR. If Renault want Webber, they will have first dobs unless FW offers silly money, and we all know he wont. If BAR deliver this year and Button gets some serious podiums, I dont think he will want to leave as he gets on well with his current team, unlike williams who passed him off.

Looks like 2004 will be the prelude to possibly the biggest shakeup in drivers for many a year...... rock'n'roll.
