My guess is that DC in the Arrows would be fighting it out with Webber in the Sauber and Sato in the Williams, with Ralf nipping at their heels. However, possibly the Ferrari would make Alex fast enough to run into the back of them all and give the race to MS who, I dare say, would in any case have tried to take 'em out as he was lapped.

Considering that Yoong is often a second or two slower than Webber, and that the F2002 is less than a second quicker than the field I think it very unlikely that a very so-so driver like Yoong could go as quick as, say, Sato in the Williams.

I’ve probably thought about this too much (at work & bored), but in a race I think the following results would ensue:
1. T Sato 2. R Schumacher 3. D Coulthard 4. M Webber 5. A Yoong (!) 6. G Fisichella 7. E Irvine with retirements for Rubens, Felipe & Micheal (in that order) cos they'd push too hard. I thank you. |

Sato, if he kept it on the black stuff, would do the job.
Yoong wouldn't do well if the Ferrari was 10 seconds quicker. He's the ultimate pay driver. Our boy Webber would do well with the Sauber. |

Alex Yoong is serving a vital purpose - he's living proof that modern F1 cars are not as easy to drive as the "technology detractors" would like us to believe!

Young because he would get loads of testing and this would get him up to speed.
Sato would be second. I think I am one of those "technology detractors", but I know F1 cars are still hard to drive. Imagine how much slower Yooung would be if he had to modulate the throttle himself, or change gear manually! I take it we are assuming that when Michael goes to Minardi he doesn't take Ross and Rory with him? |

Heidfeld would win hands down with Cristiano da Matta in second. Of course, I'm being utterly biased.
