Having a driver who has the right background, nouse and sympatico can be as important as having a hotshoe in the position Torro Rosso was in developing next years RBR power unit programme.
Can you imagine the disaster Max could have visited on the co-operation if he had still been in an STR seat?

Do you think that Max would have pushed the Honda engineers?

And just maybe now there is no Hartley there may be some implosions and McLaren type events.

It would depend on whether they'd "crashed into him"

its been pretty cool to see drivers in their 2019 seats and in some cases new team gear for the test.

no driver changes during the season but Stroll in at RPFI, Kimi, at Sauber, Leclerc in Ferrari, Sainz and Norris in a Mclaren, i think Kvyat today for STR (is he confirmed for 2019?), RK and Russell at Williams...plus a few new guns getting some testing names testing at Renault and Haas.

really something they should be broadcasting but maybe they do on F1TV.

But obviously Will can drive well and no one realised until the instagram post.

Then I thought about it and it was obvious to me that Will had done so well on the day that he could actually be lining up a role as Valterri's replacement at the end of his contract and become Lewis' wingman.....

Maybe some truth here....but isn't Red Bull the team organisation that constantly pushes for the 'man of the moment'? Who else would have put Ricciardo in a marginal situation other than Marko?

Hartley/Gasly pairing was 13/17 on the teammate stats on this site, second only to Sirotkin/Stroll (16/14).

Will Kyat find himself on the margin again if he doesnt swamp is erstwhile teammate Albon and is Albon there because he is Thai, (the originator of Red Bull- 'Krating Daeng'. The basic formula in Red Bull is still produced in Thailand and Red Bull is 51% owned by the Thai family....)

Money talks..... Red Bull gives you 'wings'.....

Will could be Lewis's wingman on the track and Lewis could be Will's wingman on the Silver Screen.
