Ask Daily Sportscar (Sebring 2011)
Following on from the excellent news that DAILY SPORTSCAR is offering FREE TO VIEW coverage of Sebring, I'm delighted to announce that Graham Goodwin has very kindly agreed to avail us of his trackside team to (do their utmost to) answer any questions 10Tenths members may have during the course of the race.
Please use this thread for that purpose alone, not for general chat and discussion. The thread will open just prior to the start of the race. |

I understand it's not a Sebring specific question, but I ask the experts anyway:
ACO has stated they will not be fouled by sandbaggers in their quest of equivalency between old an new spec cars, but how do they proceed? Do they have unlimited acces to team data? From their own "black box", or through the official transponder? Could a team still cheat and hide it's true pace? And secondly, more to the point for this race: Famin has suggested there had been some developpment work on a R15+ "which was supposed to stay the same" to quote his own words. What did he mean, is it a mind game or did the Audi team get a waiver of some sort? Thank you very much for the initiative of this thread anyway! And enjoy the race. |

Why did the Peugeot lollipop man hit one of the mechanics repeatedly on the backside with the lollipop during the first pitstop?

The Vantage's starter ring gear broke and the subsequent 'flailing' took out the starter, pinion and flywheel - the team are still working on the car but we believe they won't be allowed to start (beyond first hour)

What is the recurring problem that seems to be ailing the Muscle Milk car? I see to have missed it.

Can you find the person in charge of the live stream on ALMS.com and slap them round the face with a wet trout?

Follow-up on Audi tire issue - from the official ALMS update - confirming what we were told by Audi before.
Mike Rockenfeller: “I was following Allan and trying to not make any mistakes. I was trying to get around a Corvette when I got off line and picked up a piece of carbon. We pitted to change the tire and when I went back out and a piece of the car that was damaged before caused another puncture”. |
