Amazing last lap by Guy Smith; only 0.115 behind Lucas Luhr!

It was over 2 seconds when I wrote that so yeah.

Tighter than I expected between Dyson and Cytosport

Chris Dyson was two to five seconds off Lucas and Klaus the entire session, with his fastest time 2 seconds off. Then Guy came in and put out an incredible lap late in the session.

Hopefully Guy will qualify the car so we will get a show. I know Chris Dyson has done well in qualifying so far this year, but they need every advantage they can get if they want to compete against Cytosport and Luhr/Graf.

I hate to do so but I actually agree with you, he just seems to be in another level compared to the rest of the GTC field.

The international feed actually working has reminded me how dull this class is, almost as boring as LMPC.

Bruno came oh so close to putting the Jag in the wall.

And now the Jags (or at least one of them) is doing a good job blocking everyone!

What a great timing to spin the car...

Getting a bit bored with bimmers, Patrick Long predicted the outcome rather well Another disappointing session for us

08/05/11 Overheard at Mid-Ohio Mid-day update Hot and muggy here. Not an empty hotel room anywhere unless you find a cancellation. Parking lots look full. Looks like it will be a good crowd this weekend.

Word has it that the really big ALMS sponsorship announcement will be an ALMS video game.

Well if it rains tomorrow as everyone's saying, it doesn't really matter where they ended up today

Just realised that Robertsons are fifth in current GT points standings, just a little more bad luck for Lizards and Risi tomorrow and they could climb as high as third...
