Oh and regarding the BoP, Frikadelli has also been crying again. It's getting a bit old.

Love your work Miguel

Oh, and the Nissan also won the Blancpain Endurance Series last season. Was on pole at Silverstone as well. Are we really saying that that car is so much worse this year? Or was ADACs BoP just not as kind to them as Mercedes?

unlikely the car is worse than last year, also because it should the same 2014 homologation specs (correct me if am I wrong). I think that cars like nissan gt-r, bentley or vantage gt3, because of their size, weight distribution (>50% on front) and bop min. weight, always close if not over 1300kg; won't never be as quick as r8, 458/488, huracan in corners.
Of course this is not always true, as shown by amg gt3 at N24H.

If we compare the results from Blancpain Endurance series at Monza as an example, the top 8 manufacturers fastest laptimes are within 0,5 seconds.

http://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/r...er_race_id=414

At Nurburgring, the best laptimes from the top 6 manufacturers are quite different, with AMG and BMW being close to equal, but Porsche, Audi, Bentley and Nissan being several seconds off the pace. It´s a long track of course, but it should have been closer.

http://24hrennenassets.azureedge.net/wp-media/2016/05/24h_Rennen_Result_Official.pdf

Considering these are the top teams of each manufacturers with their best drivers, it seem to me the ADAC BOP doesnt work as well as with SRO/Blancpain.

Fastest laps by SP9 manufacturer:
Mercedes-AMG: 8'19.0
BMW: 8'19.5
Porsche: 8'20.3
Audi: 8'20.7
Bentley: 8'24.3
Aston Martin: 8'26.2 (both cars retired early)
Lamborghini: 8'27.8 (very much a private effort)
Nissan: 8'34.8

The audi race experience gentlemen posted a faster lap than Nissan's best. Something is amiss, likely horrendous BoP.

GM isn't selling it. A few teams from Europe have inquired about buying them and GM has told them they aren't building any more and they're not selling the current cars.

It won't matter to them if they lose the homologation or not because this is also most likely the last year they'll be running it before focusing on IMSA Prototype competition next year.

Will be a big loss to PWC; I assumed they just were letting it lapse as WC would let them run it anyway.

Such a shame that it's there, homologated, has interested customers and still GM won't sell them. Utter waste.

I don't think it was ever officially homologated. They brought it to the tests and were denied because it was basically a GTE car.

Ah that makes sense. But losing the homologation would take some time (couple of years), wouldn't it?

I'm sure PWC will let the Caddies continue if GM desires to keep them running - just see the paycheck as the homologation for the cars!
