Scott

Spoke to Paul Sleeman recently, he wasn't sure whether he was going to do it this year. Ollie Smith has moved on also.

I heard that the Macon was sold to PA Motorsport.

Looks like there will be no racing in FF this year for Paul then.

Scott. I think they have sold most of their Macons but last I heard they kept one Formula Ford and the Atlantic car. I wouldnt be at all suprised to see Paul out at some point this year.

I think Neil Fowler will be doing other things this year too...as well as the Historic FF that is. I'm hopefully going to meet him and have a look at his new toys next week (a 1975 Ray F3 and a couple of late 80's FF1600)
I'll be sending pics and words to the clubff1600 site

The deal with the Lola's is that Fowler & Goodwin Motorsport will be running three cars this year. The Merlyn for Neil & two Lola T200's for Colin Webb and Alistair Garratt. Webb was ill on Sunday so Neil decided to revert to the Lola.
There's a brief report here http://www.clubff1600.co.uk/news/new....asp?NewsID=28 sorry it's very front centric but it's difficult to follow the race whille trying to take piccies
and a few images here http://paulsands.org/don110404/ff/ff.html

Neil was complaining of a lack of grip all day and they subsequently discovered an engine installation problem, one of the symptoms being an oil mist being sprayed on the rear of the car, hence the lack of grip...preserved the tyres well though
