Andrey Smetsky and Alexander Lvov are back as well in the Golden Motors Honda Accord Euro R. They will also be at Imola and Monza.
There's a good chance there will be another new entrant at Oschersleben as well. |

Maybe a replacement for Tielemans?
Or Geipel with the Auris? Chris |

Geipel is leading the ADAC Procar championship so I assume he's doing the Procar races.
Any news about Wiechers? |

www.sportmotores.es reports that FIA WTCC organization doesn´t know, until now, a possible project involving Geipel Motorsport and Toyota Auris. The German team didn´t contact them to race at Oschersleben. Let to see. Last edited by E46; 17 Aug 2008 at 23:58. |

O'Brien joins in a second Poulsen BMW.
http://www.fiawtcc.com/fiawtcc/sport_sto1674237.shtml The article is quite funny because it says O'Brien already took part in 1987. |

Oliver Tielemans has read on internet he will drive in Oschersleben. He knows nothing about it. It seems FIA assumes Tielemans will drive because the German team enters a 2nd car.
Source: http://www.rickwinkelman.nl/angrylog...p+internet%22/ I don't think we will see Tielemans on the grid. According rtlgp.nl Thomas Winkelhock is candidate for the "2nd" Wiechers BMW. Last edited by FIRE; 22 Aug 2008 at 19:17. |

With 2008 being the last year of the Dutch BMW 130i Cup, BMW Holland and BMW Motorsport should put Huisman in a 2nd RBM car next season.

According to german magazine www.motorsport-aktuell.de, Wiechers is still searching for a driver of the ex-tielemans-bmw.
Huisman should be their second driver. At a test in Vallelunga, there was Dirk Werner with good results, but he is engaged at a ALMS-race in USA at the oschersleben-weekend. Christian |

It's interesting to see, what Huisman can do in a private bmw.
Can he close the gap to the works teams? |

I´m sure he will be the best driver in a private BMW. I think he could beat Jörg Müller (max Ballast). But the Victory goes to Gene or Monteiro.

Free Practice 1 Results: Click here
Free Practice 2 Results: Click here Augusto Farfus is doing well so far. Seem to be a fair mix of times and cars towards the top. |
