Vauxhalls 20th Year?

Anyone know officially when Vauxhall reach their 20th consecutive year as an official manufacturer entry? I thought it would be from 1989 which would mean they reach it at the end of this season (20 years since with no gaps as far as I'm concerned?).

The official BTCC site lists them from 1991, but I'm not sure if thats their stats and not necessarily Vauxhall's own?

They seem to only list post-1991 stats for all of the manufacturers- they're really only focusing on the post-1991 2-litre era in the historical information in that section- Ford, Toyota and Mazda's entries all make only passing reeference- or none at all- to their earlier BTCC involvement
