The answer to my question is, as you say, Silverstone, 5th place in a V16 BRM. To be honest I think we should shut up and let someone else have a crack at these conundrums, before we both get a 'reputation' Why don't we swap PMs and wait for less 'anorak' to ponder the questions. Which was the first Grand Prix that two brothers both competed in the same race? Last edited by bauble; 29 Mar 2020 at 07:48. |

Fittipaldi, E & W, '72 Spanish is the obvious one but I know virtually nothing of the 50s era (or pre-war for that matter, bowing to Max who posted while I was still typing) so could be completely wrong?

Would Peter & Graham Whitehead count?
Do you mean just 1 set of brothers or 2 sets of brothers? |

Away from F1.
Who won the very first British Saloon Car Championship race, when and where? Who won the first British Formula 3 Championship? Which club ran the first race meeting at Silverstone? Answers strictly by PM to avoid aggravation. Please. |

Who won the very first British Saloon Car Championship race, when and where?
John Sprintzel, 1958, Brands, Austin A 35. *** Championship winner: Jack Sears pedaling an Austin A 105, in 1958, in England. Which club ran the first F3 race meeting at Silverstone? BARC/ BRDC if you're talking about the first meeting counting for the then new championship. Answers strictly by PM to avoid aggravation. Who is this PM man only allowed to play, please? *** You must add Alan Foster and Tommy Sopwith… |
