How do people manage to give DOTR to someone who made an error under pressure (adding to the catalogue), then rejoined in an unsafe manner, then possibly swerved at his rival to make sure he didn't get past? TOTR (Tantrum of the Race) possibly, or SOTR (Sulk of the Race), but not DOTR.

Hamilton put Vettel under pressure, saved an accident of train-crash proportions, and won. My DOTR was Hamilton.

Verstappen was another possibility. His qualifying position was down to the team's strategy error (trying to use mediums in Q2 when they weren't quick enough) but he made progress in the race, unlike his teammate.

Vettel for me. Made one mistake, lost the car, caught it and carried on. Won the race under severe pressure from what looked to be a better car. Kicked in the nuts by the stewards then goes for comedy gold swapping the boards around.

Vettel - Hamilton argument seems to run on a personal level - great, I love emotion in F1, I don't really like either but Vettal is more worthy of DoTR, and Hamilton decision was 100% in the rules
Danny Ric, was outstanding in Qual and raced well (v Bottas especially) and so did the Hulk (prob number 2 for me)
Max made spots, but, the car should be in front of a Renault...
But Stroll even beat Perez, when starting behind Chapeau!

You are right, he did make a mistake under pressure. Not the first time either. Voting for Hamilton for putting him under that pressure is a good reason.

Vettel crossed the line first and I had this idiotic thought to vote for him. His bit of fun after added value too. As did his words while being interviewed including the appeal to not boo Lewis. Fair play to him for being able to be nice like that while sulking and having a tantrum.

If Stroll could actually qualify where the car belongs on the grid, he might be getting even better hauls of points. He's a very good race day driver.
