EDIT: here is entry list for Bahrain
http://tcr-series.com/images/events/...Bahrain_V1.pdf

So they've got 22 full season entries. Apart from round 1 where it'll only be 19, so 19 full season entries then? I hate that kind of reporting... Almost as stupid as saying your championship has a global reach of 10 billion people.

Well, according to the pdf posted by Mark0994 they'll have 23 cars at Bahrain (20 if all three TBAs are no-shows).

And I think any team that pays the entry fee for the full season is considered a full-season entry, no matter when they actually enter the series.

I've counted 22
That's my understanding as well, I just find it annoying that they put out a press releas saying 22 full season entries and two days later publish a entry list that only has 19 filled seats for round 1.

Just looked through the entry list once more. Does anybody know the difference between a Leon TCR and a Leon Cup Racer?

León TCR = The 2016 Modell
León Cup Racer = The 2015 Modell

Leon TCR is updated version of Cup Racer
It has sequential gearbox, better cooling and some aerodynamic changes.

Counted again, still came up at 23, though one of the TBAs - the third Target Opel - is obviously a no-show for Bahrain.

Might just be what the team in question wrote on their entry form. Bas Koeten's cars are a bit older, but they could very well have been upraded to the new specs.

Edit: Nevermind

Definitely 22 including the TBAs, but more than likely it'll be 19 for Bahrain unless the second Subaru and second Alfa seats are filled - anyone know if they're in the same position as the third Opel?
I thought the same about Hezemans, but it probably makes more sense to do a full season in the Benelux series and establish himself a bit more before stepping up - also surprised not to see Rangoni back with Top Run, but I guess he'd be first choice for the second car

Cannot find confirmation.

During the BoP testing at Valencia he tested an Opel of Target Competition.
With him already raced few events for Target I assumed he would drive full time for them this season.

Would not surprise me. Last year he raced already in Germany.

I think he has budget so why race in Benelux series where you have to share car with amateur driver?

Isn't Hezemans Junior (Junior?) not considered an Am so far? I doubt he'd be above "Silver" in SRO-terms.

I bet ADAC Series. In his Outings last year he was very quick and in my opinion better than Belicchi so that it makes no sense to brink him later in the season, because that cost him a good place in the rating and Target has confirmed to bring only 2 Astra in Bahrain.

You don't have to share your car with an amateur driver in the Benelux.

Totally wrong . There is no categorisation in TCR Benelux. If you'd want to enter a Honda with Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne, you'd be accepted.

Amateur drivers however can drive on their own, but not a single gentleman driver has expressed his ambition to compete in the Benelux, AFAIK.

There is a ranking for Junior driver (max. 21 years old), best team, best car and best female driver (if there's at least three of them).
