Turner Mk II Hillclimb / Modsport

I am now the proud owner of the Turner Mk II that was run by Mike Mohr and Bob Dayson over many years in Hillclimbs around the midlands. It was also driven by Simon Durling and apparently many others.

I am trying to get as much history on the car as possible, in particular it's very early years. Does anybody know the names of anyone who owned or drove the car prior to Bob Dayson???

The car has run in "Modsport" configuration for many years, but we would like to find out when it was converted from a road car.

The chassis number is 61/456 and we think it left the factory as a climax powered car, reg number 969 EOF.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you, Duncan Andrews
