It would be interesting to know what the entry criteria is and how they are selected. Knowing many of the regular MG racers in Equipe GTS, there are obviously some "name" drivers added and some I have never heard of while the leading B drivers like Tom Smith and Sam Kirkpatrick are missing.

Yep and my good friend co driver Brian Lambert. Him and his wife Barbara must be two of the longest racing competitors racing MGB.Most odd.

I stand to be corrected but I believe the grid was put together by Julius T. If so, he would select those who run with HRDC first and then allow Goodwood to appoint "star" drivers.
Edit: Just checked the entry list and note that Ron Gammons is out there. Also Heidi Sidery-Smith who is sharing the car with some bloke called Chris Ryan.

Friday only for me. I think this year I will forego the maelstrom of the paddock and head straight out to the back of the circuit.. There I will sit in solitude all day and watch hundreds of wonderful cars go past in various levels of control. And then I will go home happy.

I suggested many years ago, possibly on here, but certainly to Goodwood that each Revival (no modern MM back then) should include a club race with cars & drivers selected from those who had raced regularly with said club for the previous 2 years, no professionally endorsed licence holders, just to acknowledge the bottom rung cannon fodder without whom there would be very little historic racing at all.
Of course cynics might suggest I had my own agenda

There is a timetable on the BARC website. Look under 'Events' - and then 'Marshals and Officials Instructions' and the timetable is on the last page. Good luck if you find it!
