I hear that Mark McNally rang Dale about an enduro drive which Dale kindly facilitated....only to have Mark and Family approach HiTec oils (a sponsor Dale brought to the team) and canvas the idea that if they gave Mark the money from now on the family business and associates would change the oil used within the business to that of the sponsor. Poor form all round if any of this is true. Also hear that at Darwin the team had Dale on a 2am flight out and he was left unaware of a drivers meeting programmed. This is a dismal snapshot of the policies of the new team in the field and the ethics within. assuming any of these stories are factual.

Whether that particular spin on the swap is true or not, stuff like that has happened in motorsport before and will continue to happen in the future in all categories all around the world. The world of motor racing is quite ruthless and unforgiving and a lot of the times money wins out over everything else. Its not nice but thats unfortunately how it is.
Interesting to see how McNally goes in the main game and if he actually does better then Wood. |

I'd make sure any sponsors you bring into the sport you have an exclusivity deal with them in the contract. I'm not doing work for other people for free. |

Where did all this come about?
From what i read it was planned all along that the hitech car would be a shared drive, and McNally is in it now to get k's for the enduros..... |

I hope your not referring to the incident at Tasmania.
Rule of thumb is any incident where courtney is involved, its his fault, even if it isn't (which is exactly his defence, it wasn't my fault, even when it is haha) |

Chappy... I read J11s link and it certainly reads "familiar". However I don't think all Ozz stray uns do buisness this way, just those who think the're "getting away with it". The amount of support lost from such style ultimately has its effect.IMO. Booting Dale off at 2am...very TKR!...Sleeze with ease ... BTW ...[off topic] any word of Chris Pither.. since he failed to GRADUATE at TKRNZ. |

Alot of teams and drivers went home at 2am. Some people dont like the facts to get in the way of their story.

True and True...
Still I hope that Dale Wood gets to stay in the game though. Both on and off track... Graduating from Rookie to Pro... Is hard yards...Eh. |

The commodity being $$$.... Drivers...Sponsors... Staff and fans all a part of the trade for "the main game". Times are tough all over, specially in the current financial climate. Ruthless and unforgiving? Definately, but you reap what you sow... Poor Form...I agree... NZs former entrant was a classic example of "be there at no matter who it cost" approach. It's fierce competition...Mangia Pane...[eats money!] and the winners take all! You've gotta be IN to WIN... |

Once again, as made clear by numerous people, it was already known it was a shared drive. The severe lack of press release by Wood saying how disappointed he is with the decision (what decision?) is pretty clear he already knew what was going on at the start of the year
I didn't get too into the TKR debarcle, but if its anything like this (to quote chatters sig: storm. teacup.) then i'm glad i didn't, cause it was just the same lack of facts |

Drop into the Bob Marley hit "No money, no ride, no money, no ride!"
It sounds a bit "interesting" according to that press release |

Dale can't drop into the wailers...Get up Stand up or Stir it up cos as we've all seen Rookies are expendable, regardless of Hi Tech or Kanga.
Regarding the phraseology of that interesting press release... Money talks... Try the Everly Bros...Gone gone gone. |
