Holbay Engine - worth anything?

I've got this engine in the garage - it's a Holbay with twin down-draught Webers.
It's been bored and fully re-built with allsorts of little extra's. This was done for a specific car which was then sold, and the engine has lay dormant since - not fitted into anything since it was re-built. Also still got the original gearbox it was mated to.
I'm wondering if it's worth anything - and if so, where on earth to advertise it and roughly what price to look for. Not going to sit on it for ages hoping for mega money, but would be nice to get something back on the investment.

Is it specific to a particular shell or motorsport i.e. rallying?

Grateful for any assistance and apologies if this isn't the right forum - I can't seem to post in Parc Ferme.

Pic of the engine was taken before the re-build:

If it's of help I know the man who is likely to have built it.

I noticed the sump plug was charged at £18.90. Solid gold I presume?

Thanks for the info chaps. It was a 1500cc but was bored out and from memory is a 1675cc.

Any rough guesstimates on how much I should be looking at for it? Literally don't know if its 2 quid, £200 or 2k!

I haven't included the overall bill bit it had a few k spent on it during the 90's so should still shift!

Historically I suppose it's worth a few bob but as to how much power it has and how reliable it would be if some of the "old hat" stuff is still in it is anyone's guess.. !

The head is where the value is, I've got one here . . . its very nice, but it doesn't flow any better than my better 1500 sidedraft heads, or Gordons old one which I tested, in fact, we've done better

That said . . .its got small chambers for a 1300 . . . or possibly a 1500. it'll work on a bigger motor with some trick pistons, which I've machined before, but running them down the bore is just a compromise to combstion.
