John Watson

If you could ask John Watson a question (or two), what would you ask him.

Post your questions here and I hope to have the opportunity to put them to him.

You lot are cruel

Congrats to Sodemo2 for a sensible question. Can you remember what year you are talking about?

I don't really have a question as such, but if you're going to talk to him, could you tell him that I really appreciated the job he did when he was a commentator back in the days when Formula 1 was on Eurosport.

" have you been offered Murray's job on ITV for next year ? "

If not - why not make them an offer they can't refuse !!

"You were quite forthright in your condemnation of Uncle Ron for slagging DC off and favouring his "blue eyed boy" Mika, and Uncle Ron and Co. have been very rude in their response (calling you several uncomplimentary names). Do you consider this fight over, or is it just the opening round in a handbag contest?"

Also tell him I enjoyed his commentary on the BTCC tapes that Maisie kindly sent to me - he is hilarious and made the races even more exciting than they already were.

Well - this thread is very old and Lorna seems not to post here anymore?

Anyway, I did this website about Wattie - please have a look...

I would very much appreciate any comments.

Looks great, I look forward to reading it. I thoroughly enjoy John's commentary. He, Ben Edwards and Brundle would make a great commentary team for F1.

Here's one for John.

Other than F1 cars, which car has he most enjoyed racing in?

And would he like to have a go in an ASCAR at Rockingham?

Rob.

Great - feedback after reading (guestbook?) would be nice...

Didn't he say at the time and since that in the car it just felt like a bit of a spin and a bump and when he got out he couldn't believe that car was in half.

How did it feel to drive an F1 Car with number 1 on the nose?
