Asa should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
If you ask me then I think WTCC should go to Vancouver.

I read in a car magazine Alfa Romeo cars will be sold again in US in 2007. So IMO it would make sense to race in US. Like they say in Nascar: Win of Sunday, sell on Monday.

But does WTCC operate with this logic? I mean how many of the constructors racing in the championship actually sell cars to Mexico? I am wrong or it is only BMW?

Ok that sounds more sensible. Are they selling the same models that race?

It's good to hear Ford is still supporting the WTCC for '06, albeit as a technical partner(??) or car constructor? Weren't they supposedly switching to the saloon for '06 or '07?

Question is if this semi-official Ford support will destroy or not Mazda/Volvo efforts in WTCC.

In that case I would prefer a factory Mazda or Volvo project.
IMO the Ford project (except at their home circuit Oschersleben) is a joke.

Since the Focus/Mazda3 and S40 all share the same platform, could the makes also share some information/resources?

It would be cool if there was a race at the Bunbury International Circuit (Western Australia)

If there was a race there I would definatly go.

I think Zandvoort has no "noise" days available.

WTCC was not happy at Spa because of the 24h race.

According Motorsport Aktuell Dodge will enter WTCC. (Ok, I know this German magazine is not a very reliable source)

If it's true I think the Dodge Neon is the only car they can enter.

Zandvoort proposed an event to KSO, and with no GT's it will be a lot quieter !!!!

If Zandvoort fills in the right forms and hands them in on time, there should be some days available

I heard that rumor several years ago when Dodge was rumored to be considering racing in the STW or BTCC with their Dodge Stratus. I don't think that was even sold there? In the past 2-3 years, I heard the rumor that Dodge was considering to race in some touring car series, but it was probably going to race using the next 3rd generation Neon (now called SX). The 3rd generation is supposed to share it's platform with Mitsu Lancer and possibly Hyundai?
