Back again for 2012 is the Development Series, currently unnamed, but there has been some noise around that the announcement of a new title backer is imminent.

So what's happened over the summer break?

Some teams have new cars
- MWR/Blanchard...

Some teams have new drivers
- 888/Pye, Sonic/Miedecke, Novocastrian/Hector, KR/Russell, KR/Waters...

Some teams are still looking.. some drivers are still looking...

Where will Mr Perkins go? Is Mr Bargwanna going to drive 'his' Tasman VE again? Is Mr Morris coming back, in an FG or VE? Will Mr Thompson come back for a 1 round wildcard at Adelaide? Is Mr Mostert going to run?

It will be an interesting year... with few main game endurance spots around, and the final year of eligibility of the main game cars.. you can see that there might be more than a few successful wildcard (wildchild?) applications for the endurance races to compete on a similar playing field...

So.. who will win? Mr Percat is on a hiding to nothing. He HAS to get the job done this year in this series. Hopefully WP has updated his older spec car to the latest thinking, and he can do well, and add to the B1000 trophy!
