A draw James??
After the experience of the Brands K of Ks' lack of seeding, why not seed them using your knowledge of their potential performance, past successes, current standings etc.

This sounds like it's going to be a good weekends racing.

Well done to James for all the work he's put in to get it organised.

Excellent news about Joey F, BEB. I've heard David Leslie's Royale RP24 is nearly ready, is he on the list ??? If not why not!!
Then we could have Rick Morris in Ant Wills' PR21 (as at the FFF a few years ago), James Weaver in dhart's Reynard, Roberto Moreno in the Lingwood RF80 and Our Nige in a Hagen Crossle 32F. I've heard that DelBoy (Warwick) has declined the (in M/Sport) hackett Hawke though. This could become like Goodwood, with an FF flavour! You could make heat 1, the 'masters' race.

Steve think id prefere John Pratt in my 84 reynard, Gilbert Scott in the other one,Mr Vergers in my RF90 and Trevor van Rooyen in my 25F (dont have an RP24!)
You may be onto something here steve, id give a car up for any of these FF legends - i had the privilege to look after Rick Morris and Ricard Peacock a few years ago at Oulton and Brands and what fantastic racing that was.

I'm in the process of trying to sort something out for AK, but his old RF79 was last seen in Newark ! Might need to get in touch with Bailey, or GvonK for the Lola.

Surely between all of us on here with all the people collectively we know - you could organise a "legends" race in their original cars....sure the BRSCC could waive an entry fee and put it on at the festival/walter hayes etc etc..

Fantasy formula ford! I`ll have Dave Coyne,he could drive anything! The list is endless sounds like a job for Diz JEB. Brian Jones could get involved as an advert for his new Formula Ford festival book - maybe he`d sponsor it "high wide and handsom" i can see it now!

We'd have to make sure it didn't clash with the golf, if we're going to get Our Nige in a Crossle again. Not sure if he'd drive the Javelin JL5 again though. Wonder who's got that now?

Javelin last heard of [by me] as a School car at one of the Mallory Racing Schools. Thhe name Patrick Mulleady springs to mind.

It would be nice to get AK out again.

Anyone got a slightly damaged, black RF88 for Schumi to try again in?

How about Tommy Reid? You could run the event with all of his FF1600s', they would make a full grid themselves.

JEB is Brian doing the commentry, or is it the regular Silvers crew. He said he'd not been invited when I saw him at BH, maybe there's some politics I'm not aware of ?

Dizzy - I'll ask if the Javelin is still in this area sometime.

RUMOUR!

It looks like the number of entries is only a couple short of 60!
Well done James.

There must be a couple of drivers out there wanting to get three races for £200, an opportunity to photo with JYS and have the luxury of an F1 pit garage.

entries from www.brdc.co.uk

Maybe 60 now as John Hutch is confirmed for a one off race for the University of Central Lancashire's Team UCLAN

Students to win the Walter Hayes?

Which heat is JYS in? I hope he's in the 'legends' race with the other tartan F1 driver.
dhart - how about Wally Warwick for your Reynard - can he bring his own engine with him?
And Justin, we'd like Jan Magnusson in your VD, but you'll need to have cockit adjustable ride height and heavy wheels !!!
For the PRS's we want Tommy Byrne, Rick Morris and Alfonso Toledano - has anyone got a no for Alfie ??

Yea bo problem, although he raced a '92 didn't he?

Mines a '90, so should have Vergers or Jean C-B.

I will put illegal ride height on, do you want me to take the bent engine out or leave it in?

Put Jamie Spence in the RF90 as his privateer entry or as a works Swift 92 entry. Irv is free and can drive an RF87 and why not put Jonny Kane out in an SC93?

Do reckon that the italian bloke I can't remember from 89 could still do in a nice RF89 or maybe Nico Palhares too?

Yes we need an RF89 for Sospiri.
Irv, McNish, JV (RF78), and Mika H all free ...... are there any 85 reynards left or have they all been squashed.

I bet if you asked Vergers he would!

Lets get Menu in an '87 Reynard as well, show irv the way round, just tell him to keep an eye in his mirrors coming into copse!

Damon Hill in Bernard's RF85, then there's the Stig (Perry M), Kelvin Burt, .................and do you mean Phil Harris JR?

Anybody got an old Palliser so that Tony Jardine can relive his old Aintree roots?
What about a Blackjack for Alan Minshaw, or an early Jamun for Justin Wilson's dad. What did Sytner race? Merlyn I think
Dust off your Crossle 30F and get Edmund Jordan out. Fittipaldi, Scheckter, Jimmy Vasser .............
The list could go on and on and probably will.

JEB might need to run the WH over a full week next year!!
