5, 10 & 77 possibly with penalties and the 22 possibly needing to pit again, could be anyone's at this point.

Looks like Van Der Zande if they don't get called ... No Further Action .... WTR should win it then .... oh well.
I really don't count on Derani saving fuel. EDIT: Core will be on fumes if they can make it ... 48 minutes is about a P2 stint, i think? |

Well ... when one of the Mazdas blows up the resulting FCY will solve all the fuel worries.

The #54 has had at least one tank chop though ... it's going to be close. Colin's best bet could be to latch onto Van Der Zande and save fuel behind him.
Edit - Both Mazdas are charging. If Braun can't pick up the pace he'll be down to sixth in short order. |

Nasr down to 9th, but 10th is laps down; Braun needs to stay ahead of at least one of the Mazdas to secure the title.

That's not impossible I think with Nasr just over a minute behind the leader. |

Derani is taking a podium rather than running dry trying to win. Beats a Caddy 1-2

Looks like CORE are calling Braun into the pits for a splash. Can't see them taking the title if they do, but it's been a hell of a run.
Edit - Without some absolute chicanery in front, the title should be the #31's. Can Jarvis get up to the leading trio, or will his Mazda spontaneously combust in the last seven minutes? |

Looked like contact between 10 & 22 there, it's all getting a bit racey.

And now the #5's pit crew are on the wall, but Albuquerque sails past for another lap. Derani pits.
Edit - Braun has to pass Derani and hope one more car comes in between him and Nasr. |

That was shockingly poor from Hindhaugh & Shaw. Right in front of them there was a last-corner pass for the lead (even the director caught it), but let's gab about 9th place for 20 seconds.

Yep. IMSA needs to let them know that they have to sort themselves out or be dropped like with the WEC.

Exciting race though as mentioned above the commentary has reached the point where it's missing too many important moments on track and a change needs to be made.
Hard to be excited about a Caddy victory but the penultimate corner pass was exciting. At least it wasn't a 1-2. Disappointed for Core too but they gave it a great try. Nasr did a great job for the world's most boring team (IMO) and it's deserved. |

Was that Pigot in the #55 that crossed the line on the grass? That just descended into madness.
