Following an investigation and an admission by Michael Patrizi Car #333 that he drove in a careless manner involving contact with Alex Davison Car #4 the Stewards imposed a penalty of 5 Championship Points deduction.

Following an investigation and an admission by Jason Richards Car #8 that he drove in a careless manner involving contact with James Courtney Car #18 the Stewards imposed a penalty of 4 Championship Points deduction.

I feel safe to write what I like today because our research tells us local motorsport fans are not big paper buyers and are not fussed about reading day-to-day news on all sports including their own.

That article was somewhat wonderful, but the smattering of condescending undertones can be felt throughout......... Perhaps it was written from the point of view of being pleasantly surprised?

The point made about the sport being one of high sponsorship stakes does make the fact that the drivers are so human compared to other sports somewhat synthetic, but at the end of the day, we do have a good contact ratio with our "heroes" compared to other sports. We "revheads" are indeed lucky!
