Yimkin should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Non-controversial saloon thread!

The relentless Glaister marketing machine is pleased to announce the unveiling of....

http://www.corgi.co.uk/CorgiSite/Motorsport/VA02112.htm

The 'certain elderly gentleman' mentioned in another post is rather chuffed!

Comes in a nice presentation box too - get yours now before the bargain bin swallows them all up!

I believe a few more Top Hat and HRSR cars are soon to appear in the same series...

(Thanks to Julius for nominating us as a suitable subject)

I visted my local accessory shop today to purchase a big bore exhaust for my hot rod(sorry) only to find that big bore's were out and yellow wheels were in, this was confirmed when walking down the high street of my local town I noticed the bad boy's cruising, showing off there 'yeller's.

2nd attempt as for some reason posts keep going astray

Having spoken to said 'elderly gentleman' last week I can confirm he has ordered his Island in the Bahamas on the royalties

I think a 100E in sky blue with red wheels might look good.

GoJo . . .yellow wobbly webs on your car, you know you want to !

I suspect a Gerry Marshall set comprising Old Nail, Baby Bertha and the JCB Aston would attract a fair amount of sales.

It'll be interesting if the authenticity is taken as far as the yellow novice sticker on the back of the car, bit on the embarassing side if it was !

I think they would but then I am biased!! I've had a quote for getting some models made but they £180 each. I had a Droop Snoot made for me and that was done at a good rate but stll £150.

There is a guy who does Old Nail and Baby Bertha bare Sclaetrix shells on ebay. I have them but I don't have the skill or time to paint them.

Oh well, one day someone will do it an make some money no doubt.....

the resin shells are quite easy to build, he also does a chassis kit with wheels and motor etc, I built a series 1 Elan as a Christmas present for someone

Hi GBRM - I dunno! Julius Thurgood (our series organiser) asked us - I assume either he'd approached corgi or they had approached him to nominate some suitable cars? Came as a complete (and very nice) surprise to us!
